Our Story
Skyline Drive Band is a premier wedding and private event band that has played throughout the Southeast and Midwest since 1996. Our entire band is comprised of top industry professionals who have performed in symphony halls, theaters, music festivals, arenas and clubs. Your guests will experience, live, some of Nashville’s most recognized session musicians, who have recorded and/or toured with acts like Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Katy Perry, Aretha Franklin, Miami Sound Machine, Donna Summer, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Lionel Richie, and more.
Our full 9-piece band includes multiple powerhouse vocalists, keys, bass, guitar, drums, a full rhythm section, and a killer 3-piece horn section, (try playing Uptown Funk without horns!). All the music we play is fully arranged to ensure the biggest and best sound. Our musical versatility is one of the reasons Skyline Drive continues to be one of the most sought-after bands in Nashville. From Pop to Soul, Jazz, Rock, Motown hits and more, we play the biggest hits from every popular decade. Plus, we can accommodate your requested favorite song for special dances, school fight songs, or whatever you want to sing at the top of your lungs.
Why Skyline Drive?
Your party is an event, not a gig, and that’s exactly how we approach it. What’s the difference? A “gig” is simply a live performance. The band shows up, sets up, plays and leaves. “Events” are more complicated, highly detailed with a lot of moving parts that need to coordinate for the night to go smoothly and successfully. Music City is home to a many great bands, not every one is the right fit for formal events. We’ll wow you on stage, and also help with planning, make event transitions flow, bring the fun, and keep you and your guests in the spotlight all night!
